LG is what we install when there is no good way to run ductwork. Additions, converted garages, Florida rooms, and older homes where the duct system cannot be extended.

Midea is one of the largest HVAC manufacturers in the world. It also builds equipment sold under other brand names, so plenty of Tampa Bay homeowners own Midea hardware without knowing it.

Trane has a reputation for lasting, and around Tampa Bay it mostly earns it. We find systems still running at eighteen years that nobody has maintained. The durability cuts both ways: the equipment keeps not quite dying, and the awkward spending decisions arrive years later than the owner expected.

Most homeowners are surprised to learn that Daikin owns Goodman. It is also the largest HVAC manufacturer in the world. The two brands share factories in Texas and a certain amount of componentry, though the inverter equipment Daikin badges itself is its own design.

Mitsubishi Electric builds the ductless equipment most other manufacturers get measured against. Around Tampa Bay we put it in where the job has to be quiet, or where the house cannot take ductwork and the owner does not want to compromise on the result.

At the efficient end of the market, the Lennox Signature line includes some of the highest rated equipment sold in this country. There is a tradeoff worth knowing before you buy. Lennox controls parts distribution more tightly than most manufacturers do.

The manufacturer and model are on the data plate, usually a sticker on the side of the outdoor unit or inside the air handler door. Send us that model and serial number and we can tell you the age of the system and whether it is still in warranty before quoting any work.
Some equipment is also built by one manufacturer and sold under another name. Midea in particular builds systems for several other brands, so a unit that does not say Midea on the outside may still take Midea parts.
